Air Travel With Toddler
GoBabies.com
For your air travel with your TODDLER, here are a few suggestions.
- Pack extra supplies - flights often get delayed.
- Stacking cups are easy to pack and fun to play with.
- Mirrors and small photo albums with picture of family and the child help keep the child
entertained.
- Bring small books that you can read to the child.
- Small snacks are a must.
- Use a lightweight stroller and bring it to the gate to check last minute.
- Coordinate timing of bottle/cup w/straw feeding with take off and landing so the child
is sucking something when the air pressure is hardest on the ears.
- Bring the child's blanket.
- Bring the car seat (sudden air turbulence can be a real problem.) or look at Bear B'Air
as an alternative.
- Talk to your pediatrician about what medicine if any you can give your child to make
them drowsy if the other methods to ease ear pressure don't work.
- Good GoBabies products for the trip include: Diaper Changing Kits (makes packing a
breeze), Disposable Bibs (no dirty bibs back in the diaper bag) and Earplanes (these ear
plugs for kids really help), and Baby B'Air child restraint (FAA tested harness to allow
child to sit on your lap safely during flight.).
Have a great trip!
