Try to synchronize your bottle feeding/nursing with the take-off and landing of the plane.
The sucking action will help keep the child's ear passages clear. In between flights take the
child out to exercise. Bring a blanket so you can put he/she on the floor. Ask your
pediatrician if there is any medicine that would help make the child drowsy if it comes to
needing that. Bring books that you can read to him/her. Bring a car seat or check out Baby

Remember that you can check your stroller at the gate and minimize the time you have to
carry the child. The airline will have it ready for you when you get off. For those with small
infants, many parents use a sling-style child carrier to keep their hands free. Try to get a
